Three of the best wineries in Shoalhaven

Not as well known as the Hunter Valley or South Australia’s Barossa, the wineries and cellar doors of Shoalhaven offer unique experiences and brilliant wines nonetheless.

The truth is that the region has the rustic charm of Tuscany and shares similarities with oft-praised Bordeaux while retaining it’s own unique character.

There’s a special atmosphere that you only find on the South Coast of NSW, a kind of relaxed, ambience which is as present on the stretching beaches with their crashing waves as it is in the rolling hinterland where the wineries are located.

Cupitt’s Winery
Located Behind Milton and near Ulladulla, Cupitt’s Winery is a fantastic attraction, not only for it’s award-winning wines but for it’s micro brewery, fromagerie and restaurant.

With extraordinary views out across the vines to Burrill Lake and the Budawang ranges, Cupitt’s is just a stone’s throw from shore yet provides one of the state’s best winery restaurants.

A visit to Cupitt’s has become a must do for foodies visiting the region.
